Age Groups

  • At Creative Discovery Preschool your child will be placed into an age-appropriate group.

  • Toddlers: 2-3 years old

    We offer toddlers a loving, safe, and nurturing environment to develop essential skills and become more independent. Through play, music, and language development activities, children engage in concept-formation, social interactions, and learning about self.  If appropriate, children engage in Russian language interactions. 

    Preschoolers: 3-4 year old

    This program uses research-based principles as the cornerstone of instruction. Children are provided with a comprehensive, integrated instruction in all developmental domains. On a daily basis, children engage in fun activities that develop key social skills and interactions and build a strong foundation for meeting future academic challenges. Daily activities include vocabulary development, phonological awareness, print awareness, alphabet knowledge, number concepts, etc. 

    Pre-Kindergarteners: 4-5 year old

    This pre-kindergarteners program is designed to help your child make significant developmental gains, improve communication skills, and learn to work well independently and in groups. Our curriculum focuses on critical thinking, problem-solving, responsive listening and language usage, as well as social and collaborative skills. The curriculum for the program includes emergent reading and language arts, emergent math, writing, science, music, and drama. Special attention is given to the preparation of gifted and talented.
